Calle Larios, officially known as Calle Marqués de Larios, is the most iconic pedestrian avenue in Málaga, Spain. Stretching from the Plaza de la Constitución to the Alameda Principal, this wide street serves as the commercial and social heart of the city’s historic center. Designed in the 19th century by architect Eduardo Strachan, the street was funded by the influential Larios family to connect the city center with the port, facilitating trade during a period of economic growth. The architecture features elegant, uniform light-colored façades with neoclassical and modernist influences, reflecting the Chicago trends of the era.

The street was inaugurated in 1891 and pedestrianized in 2002, which significantly boosted local retail activity.
