Flamenco de Sevilla refers to the cultural institution known as the Museo del Baile Flamenco, located in the historic Santa Cruz quarter of Seville. Housed in a restored 18th-century building, the museum serves as a global center for preserving the history and culture of flamenco dance, which is recognized by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. Founded by renowned dancer Cristina Hoyos, the museum offers an interactive, technology-driven experience rather than a static gallery.

Visitors engage with immersive installations that explain flamenco’s rhythms, styles (palos), and evolution from its diverse ethnic roots to its modern global influence. The goal is to foster an emotional understanding of duende, the passionate spirit of the art, preparing guests for live performances in the central courtyard. The museum is open Monday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with last entry at 5:30 PM. On the first Monday of every month, opening hours are adjusted to start at 4:00 PM.

Admission tickets start at €10 for adults, with discounts available for online bookings and combined museum and show packages. The venue is located at C. Manuel Rojas Marcos, 3, near the Cathedral and Alcázar. It is recommended to book in advance, especially during peak seasons and festivals, to secure entry for both the museum and nightly shows. The experience provides a deep cultural insight into Andalusian heritage, blending historical education with artistic performance.
