Jardín Botánico-Histórico La Concepción

The Jardín Botánico-Histórico La Concepción is a historic botanical garden located in Málaga, Spain, situated on the banks of the Guadalhorce River. Established in 1855 by the Marquises of Casa Loring, the garden is one of the best-preserved subtropical gardens in Europe. It is designated as a Bien de Interés Cultural, recognizing its significant botanical and historical value.

The garden features over 50,000 plants, including 3,000 species of tropical, sub-tropical, and native plants. The collection includes rare species and ancient trees, such as palms and ferns, which have been cultivated since the 19th century. The garden is closed on December 25 and January 1. On December 24 and 31, it closes early at 15:00 or 17:00 depending on the specific year's schedule.
