Segovia Art Museum (Museo de Segovia)

The Segovia Art Museum (Museo de Segovia) is a regional museum located in the Casa del Sol, a historic fortification within the city walls of Segovia, Spain. Established in 1842, the museum was originally created to house works from dissolved convents and is now designated as a Site of Cultural Interest. It serves as a key institution for understanding the region’s history and cultural heritage, housing a diverse collection of approximately 1,500 pieces.

Visitors can explore exhibits featuring Celtiberian artifacts, Roman mosaics, and Visigothic enamels, which highlight the area’s ancient roots. The collection also includes 15th and 16th-century Castilian and Flemish panels, as well as contemporary paintings. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, with seasonal hours. From October to June, it is open from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
